The Short Version
Subscriptions are not refunded mid-period. You can cancel anytime and your access continues through the end of the billing cycle. One-time services (LLC formation) are non-refundable once processing begins. If something went wrong on our end, email us and we'll make it right.
Subscriptions
Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period. If you cancel, your subscription does not renew and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. We do not issue partial refunds for unused days in a monthly period.
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are billed once per year. If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues through the end of the annual period. We do not issue refunds for the remaining months of an annual period after cancellation.
Exception: if you were charged in error (for example, charged twice in the same period or charged after a confirmed cancellation), we will issue a full refund for the duplicate or erroneous charge. Email us with your account email and a description of the issue.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply. Your data remains accessible until the period ends, at which point your account enters a 30-day deletion window.
LLC Formation
The $299 LLC formation fee (or $269 for active subscribers) is non-refundable once we have submitted your paperwork to the Wyoming Secretary of State. This is because state filing fees are paid to the state on your behalf and are not recoverable.
If you have paid but processing has not yet begun — typically within 24 hours of payment — contact us at [email protected] and we can discuss your options.
Free Tools
The tax calculator, first DMCA takedown, LLC cost estimator, and resource guides are free. There is nothing to refund for free tools.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your account pending resolution and provide transaction records to your card issuer. We'd much rather resolve disputes directly — disputes we agree with, we refund; disputes filed in error, we contest. Please email us first.
